TUBES AND COUPLERS SYSTEM
This is the earliest type of metallic scaffold. This system is versatile but cumbersome and time consuming to use since it involves a lot of joints and several loose components, which necessitate elaborate safety precautions during erection/dismantling.
SCAFFOLD TUBES
Size: MS Scaffold Tubes 40mm NB (OD:48.3mm) Tubes conforming to IS-1161, 1239, EN 10219, BS 1139, AS/NZ 1576. Available in lengths upto 6.0mm.
SWIVEL COUPLER (PRESSED)
This type of coupler is used for connecting two scaffold tubes at any angle other than right angle, Swivel Couplers are available for 40x40mm NB Tubes and 40x50mm NB Tubes (40mm NB:48.3mm OD, 50mm NB: 60.3mm OD), conforming to IS-2750/ BS 1139.
RIGHT ANGLED COUPLER (FORGED)
These are heavy duty right angle couplers using Drop-Forged manufacturing process and known as “ Right Angle Coupler (Drop Forged)”. Used for connecting two 40mm NB (OD:48.3mm) scaffold tubes at right angle to each other, conforming to IS 2750/BS-1139/EN 74 Class B.
RIGHT ANGLED COUPLER (PRESSED)
This type of coupler is used for connecting two scaffolds tubes at right angle to each other, Right Angle Couplers are available for 40mm NB Tubes and 40x50mm NB Tubes (40mm NB:48.3mm OD , 50mm NB: 60.3mm OD) conforming to IS-2750, BS 1139.
COUPLER (DROP-FORGED)
These are heavy duty right angle couplers using Drop-Forged manufacturing process and known as “ Right Angle Coupler (Drop Forged)”. Used for connecting two 40mm NB (OD:48.3mm) scaffold tubes at right angle to each other, conforming to IS 2750/BS-1139/EN 74 Class B.
EXPANDING JOINT PIN (E.J.P)
Expanding Joint Pin is used to join two 40mm NB (OD:48.3mm) tubes end-to-end.
SLEEVE COUPLER
Sleeve Coupler are used to join two 40mm NB (OD:48.3mm) Tubes in same axis at their face from outside to continue their lengths for access. Conforming to EN 74.
PUTLOG COUPLER
Putlog Couplers are available for 40x40mm NB (OD:48.3mm) Tubes. Conforming to EN 74.
GRAVLOCK GIRDER COUPLER/BEAM CLAMP
The Gravlock Girder Coupler has been specifically designed for attachment to either horizontal or vertical flanges, and will accommodate up to 43mm (13/4”) in depth. In erection the Gravlock Coupler is highly effective, as it enables the fitting to be bolted to the girder first, leaving both hands free to present and secure the tube. Conforming to BS 1139, EN 74.
BOARD RETAINING CLAMP
The board retaining clamp is used on both ends to connect a steel tube to the plank. Conforming to EN 74.
TOE BOARD CLAMP
The pressed Toe Board Clamp hooks around the scaffold tube, and then the angle bracket hooks around the scaffold board, thus keeping the toe board firmly in place.
LADDER CLAMP
This is a unique safety product that enables ladders to be firmly fastened by the stiles to horizontal scaffold tubes. Used in pairs.
